Collagen hydrolysate from wild-caught marine fish with natural vitamin C from acerola berries is a powerful preparation! In addition to natural vitamin C, this product also contains a natural sweetener, Stevia, and has a light and fresh strawberry flavor.
It is the most abudant protein in our body as about 25-35% of proteins in our connective tissues, skin, bones and tendons are made up of collagen.
Collagen has a specific and unique amino acid composition.

Suggested use: Mix two scoops (17 g) in 300 ml of water, milk, juice, smoothie or shake once or more times per day.

Collagen comes from the Greek word for “colla” (meaning glue) and is found throughout the body, so it can be thought of as a “cell adhesive” that helps hold all the connective tissues in the body together.
Collagen plays an important role in the body in this process and provides strength, firmness and elasticity to our skin, bones, muscles, tendons, cartilage, nails, teeth and organs, including the entire digestive system. The amino acids in collagen are the building blocks of these structures!

Natural and gentle hydrolysis (cutting into pieces) of collagen proteins from high quality marine fish skin produces low molecular weight peptides weighing 3-6 kDa. The taste of the powder is very neutral, so it is an ideal raw material for shakes and smoothies. Due to the low molecular weight of the collagen particles, they are absorbed efficiently and quickly. With a protein concentration of up to 95% per serving, this dietary supplement is as pure as possible.

Quality is important

Not all collagen powders are of the same quality. In 2020, the Clean Label Project analyzed 30 collagen products for the heavy metals: arsenic, cadmium, lead and mercury. The report found that 100% of the collagen supplements tested kept mercury levels within safe food standards. However, 34% contained low measurable concentrations. However, 37% were positive for high lead levels and 17% for high cadmium levels.
